| I'M ON MY WAY TO GUAM!!!!! AGAIN!!!!! RIGHT NOW!!!! I'M SOOOOO HAPPY.
I only get a day and a half, though. But STILL!!!!!! I get to see everyone!!!!!

Okay.
Other than that. Hawaii was awesome. Spent 4 days there. Relaxed, went hiking, hit the beach, ate. All that fun stuff. This deployment has actually been quite enjoyable. I joined the Navy Reading Program. It's where you read a list of books before the end of deployment and you get 4 days off work!!!
I also joined the Biggest Loser contest onbard. It's the weight loss competition. Since I have gained 20+ lbs since being on board, I thought it would be a great way to lose the extra pounds! So far, so good! I've been working out extra hard and eating right. It's tough, but will be totally worth it in the end.
Other than that.... I can't think of much else to go on about!

| Have you ever felt like you were being set up for failure?
I did, today, actually.
My boss told me to go and do something that he knew I would fail at.
So, realizing that I was set up, I went to my resources and ended up doing it, exceptionally well!
In his face!
Boo-yah!
On another note.
I miss Stephon terribly.
Only a few more weeks, though.
I think I'm gonna go eat some chilli from the ship's store, though.

I'm suppposed to be working, but instead I can't focus.

Right now we are bringing hovercrafts on and off the boat.

| Goodness Gracious! So much, with no words!
This weekend I will be in L.A. then back out to sea until Thanksgiving.
Which is when Stephon and I will be coming to Michigan for a visit.
Then back out to sea until Christmas! WHich Stephon and I are spending
in Florida. Back to San Diego for New Years, then off to my 9 month
deployment! It's going to be a crazy year beginning now!
I went and visited Stephon 2 weekends ago, before I went underway. I
had an awesome time! If I ever remember, I will post pics. It's just
hard when I don't get to use my laptop.
Other than that, nothing else is really going on.
I have been watching a lot of movies, and sleeping a lot.
Oh and of course, working!
This boat is so broken, that I think I work more than I sleep, eat, and watch DVD's all together!
It's insane.
But fun at the same time! I love the challenge!

| So the ship is letting me take Emergency Leave to visit Christopher (my brother) in Washington this weekend. I'll be gone for approx. 7 days. I'm actually excited about this, since I haven't seen him in about 5 years! After I come back, 10 days later, my father and his family will be out here to visit me, which I am taking leave for as well! Oh I can't wait!!!! Work has been hectic, as always. Today I am the only Electrician onboard, so they have me EVERYWHERE! I snuck a quick nap, though, which was nice. Well, I'd better go each dinner! Love ya'll! Ash | | |
